Who are we?
We are the Parent Advisory Team, a parent-lead group that is aimed at increasing knowledge and support of developmental screenings for children aged birth-5. We intend to build and strengthen existing partnerships between parents and the community to improve developmental outcomes for young children.
Purpose of “Ready, Set, Grow” event:
Inform parents about the importance of developmental screenings and community organizations that provides those screenings. We’ll also be promoting local agencies who will provide additional information and resources regarding the programming that is currently available in the community. Ultimately, we are hoping to increase awareness and access to resources that will improve the outcome of young children’s well-being.
Intended audience:
Parents with children between the ages birth – 5.
