As part of the vibrant and historic celebration of Bronzeville Week, the Good Neighbor Block Party is a dynamic, family-friendly event designed to uplift community spirit while honoring the rich cultural legacy of Milwaukee’s Bronzeville neighborhood plus the arts, culture, and entrepreneurship that define it. Rooted in the values of unity, creativity, and mutual respect, this block party brings neighbors of all ages together to celebrate what it means to be a good community member through the lens of arts, culture, and collective joy.
Hosted at /CW Creative Studios + Shop [on Garfield ave. between Dr. Martin Luther King Drive & Vel R. Phillips Ave.], the event will transform a city block and /CW creative studio facility into an interactive celebration featuring, interactive play, community art creation, food, and family activities—all designed to strengthen neighborhood connections and foster a deeper appreciation for the cultural richness that defines Bronzeville.
