Carlos M. Vergara Jr.—more than a fashion enthusiast, more than a creative director, more than just style. A creator who moves with intention, deeply rooted in his culture, community, and self. Every vision I bring to life is a reflection of the creativity that runs through me, a tribute to the stories, people, and experiences that shape who I am.

With that, I introduce In My Home—a series that invites you into my world, where inspiration meets intimacy, and where every frame tells a story of influence, identity, and expression.

“In My Home” is a photo series that celebrates the intersection of identity, culture, and independence. As a Puerto Rican and Black man, I use my home not just as a backdrop but as a canvas for storytelling. Each room—whether messy or refined—reflects a part of me, merging raw authenticity with high-fashion aesthetics. This is more than a collection of photos; it’s a journey through my world, showing ‘the right amount’ of myself in every detail. My home is my sanctuary, my stage, and the space where I’m free to be unapologetically me.

In My Home is more than just a fashion series; it’s a deeply personal, cultural, and artistic statement. The way you’re merging identity, heritage, and high fashion within the intimate setting of your home is fire. It’s like every shot will tell a story of who you are, where you come from, and how you express yourself through style.

Respectful nods—Carrie Mae Weems’ storytelling through domestic spaces, Karl Kani and Willy Chavarria’s influence on fashion with cultural authenticity, and the innovative, boundary-pushing energy of Pharrell and A$AP Ferg. It’s a perfect mix of artistry, heritage, and modern influence.
