ONCE AGAIN ITS ON!!!!!! MPOWER THEATER!!!!!THIS TIME AT UW-MILWAUKEE! FREE ADMISSION for UWM STUDENTS AND THE COMMUNITY!

The New Black Fest in collaboration with playwright Dominique Morisseau commissioned five Black women playwrights to dig deeper and participate in the national conversation around Black womanhood and social perceptions of black femininity, providing black women a creative platform to personalize these issues.

Untamed: Hair Body Attitude will feature short plays by Jocelyn Bioh, Chisa Hutchinson, Lenelle Moïse, Nikkole Salter, & Cori Thomas. Directed by Catina Cole, Eva Juniel, and Mia Rudolph-Schulta. This is an MPower Theater Production, the social justice theater group, that brought to Milwaukee "PocketBook Diaries," "Yetta Young's Butterfly Confessions," and "Hands Up" in the past year.

MPower, a non-profit acting troupe dedicated to empowering survivors and offering opportunities for underrepresented artists, while creating and reenacting theater with a social justice focus on activism, advocacy, and awareness.
