VOICES FOUND REPERTORY PRESENTS
MEDEA
BY EURIPIDES
Production Dates: December 6 – 16, 2018
MILWAUKEE, WI – One of antiquity's most notorious legends explodes into life in Euripides' greatest play. When her husband - the Greek hero Jason - abandons Medea and their children, a battle of the sexes becomes a nightmarish venture into questions of vengeance, justice, family, loyalty, and pride. As Medea decides how far she will go to bring Jason to task for his betrayal, her community must grapple with the consequences that anger - even righteous anger - can bring upon the innocent. A story that has haunted audiences for two millennia has never felt timelier.
