UNCOVERED, produced by David Ravel, returns Friday, April 13th at 8pm to Turner Hall Ballroom. Each performance brings together a diverse lineup onf Milwaukee’s best artists who explore, dissect and celebrate the most important musicians of our time under the vision of a selected curator. Finishing out the 2018 season will be local award-winning singer, multi-instrumentalist & UNCOVERED series veteran performer B~Free, who will highlight work by the “King Of Pop” himself, Michael Jackson! In this excerpt from the show’s repertoire list, B~Free combines soulful harmonic elements with beatboxes & voice loops for a laid back rendition of “Remember The Time,” mixed by Strehlow of Noh Life. With dance, poetry, mashups, remixes and Classical Quartet arrangements, the full reinterpretation of MJ's catalog is sure to delight both avid MJ and music lovers.

B~Free’s multiple talents as a singer/songwriter/producer/flautist and pianist have made her one of the most sought after musicians of the Midwest. A proud alum of the Milwaukee High School of the Arts, B~Free has dedicated her life to music as a solo artist, teacher and musician/lead vocalist of the Milwaukee musical collective, Foreign Goods. Her latest album, “Ode 2 A Luv Affair,” was released in the fall of 2016 and received much acclaim, including Solo Artist of the Year nominations from WAMI & Radio Milwaukee, & being hailed the “number one Milwaukee Album of the Year” by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Her treasure chest of talents continues to catapult her up the ladder of Milwaukee’s music scene.
