Riverwest FemFest, in partnership with Ms. Lotus Fankh, is hosting a panel discussion on the Impact & Importance of Women in Music. This event will be the closing event of a month-long celebration of Women’s History month. The panel will take place virtually in Zoom and will be streamed live on Facebook for people to watch.
During the panel we are looking to highlight organizations and groups dedicated to include, support, and promote Women in Music. The discussion will center around the struggles facing Women navigating the music industry and the opportunities that are available now in the new climate. Finally, we will conclude by discussing ways in which we can support each other’s efforts.
The goal of the panel is to support a national network of like-minded organizations while raising awareness of the Impact & Importance of Women in Music.
