Sorry no fancy write up from us this time but here is the submission blurb.
“Young Deuces, ends the year with his 2nd solo album, Son of A Soldier: The Story of Dr. Jekyll's Legacy. An album inspired by his father's rap book which entailed 7 songs written all within the year he was born. The very first song in that book was the very first rap that Young Deuces had ever learned and gave him the desire to music. Listen as each song is inspired & named by that very rap book found in his parents basement.”

Somebody get this man a trophy!
Yall know Adam Xander, right? Also known as DJ Adomocity, who made an appearance on copywritemag.com as a guest writer last March? Yea, that guy!
Well he is checking in with another lane of creativity, with his EP ‘Adam Xander’. Adam is letting off some steam with his fearless bars about societal issues and personal redirection.
He uses clever undertones of “F*ck You”, shifts of “I got this” with a balance of ego, confidence, and challenge. It's a hard balance but he is definitely winning here!
Our favorite tracks are “Cat Calls” (single) (for its subject matter) and “Many Places” (for the production and flow). We respect the grind, the clear reflection on self truths and the vibe.
Check out this EP and let us know if your rocking with it.

N.Daniels is 25-year-old Milwaukee native who is “attempting to cater to real hip-hop lovers [from] both sides of the generations, old and new”. His project ‘Meals for the Mil’ feeds us a hefty portion of reminiscent hip-hop and new wave lyricism. With a more spoken-word cadence, these tracks should be taken in doses, analyzed, paused and repeated. An old soul seems to be pouring out of this one but his youthful subject matter is still timeless.
Our favorite tracks are “Black Artist” (From the title, that should be self-explanatory) and “Fake Chain” (Because it reminds us of that one time...long story short, the chain was gold plated buster lol) “Baby it's all the same”.
We need yall word on this one. Tell us what you think. Are you rockin with N.Daniels? Leave a comment and let us know!

Imani Ortiz, is a graduating senior at UW-Milwaukee. The best way to describe Imani would be nothing less than “the jack of all trades”. Her comedic energy and enthusiastic personality is hard to match. Her biggest goal is to explore and help connect different generations to urban culture through media and interpersonal encounters. She's setting the stage to trail blaze a new journey on Milwaukee’s urban scene and is ready to take the leap into her sole creativity.
Invite us to your events to meet this Urban personality!

“It’s about a black kid in Milwaukee dealing with his trials and challenges as a minority”.
Pause. That’s deep.
If concepts won the game, ‘Treason Youth’ is the high score. NilexNile has given us a snapshot of what reality for many youth of color feels like in today’s society. Not the strong-armed, thuggish stereotypical plight that precedes us, but the intimate appeal of normalcy. Just being youthful.
There are small engagements of lustful banter, several inquiries of being in a place that is not shaped for this young mind and a clever search for what else the world holds that one has not yet had the chance to experience.
Our favorite tracks, “Hussein’s Theory” (Duh! For its poetic interpretation of the black Mind) and “Saturday Cartoons” featuring Myndd (For its fruitful flows, slight work storytelling, and connection).
NilexNile has found his lane, a gift that could have been curtailed. A dream that could have been deferred. Keep showing up sir. The world is ready for this type of truth.

EXPLICIT!
Get your head out the dirt, we are just letting you know that this is some real STREET sh*t.
Eddie Jame$ is bringing in some heavy blows with his album "The Streets Waiting”. No holds bar he is rapping like this is the serve, its life or death, and he gotta get this work off before the feds show up. (Did we get that right?). But Seriously, Jame$ gives a consistent 13 tracks of smooth production with gutter feels. and industry techniques.
Our favorite tracks are "Anytime” and “Gas” (Because we are soft LOL).
There is definitely something there, we just can’t quite put our finger on what it is. Just keep sending us music, we will figure it out.
