King Seale: The Throne Of Light

There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about my family. That I don't desire to be back at home with my wife and my daughter but with the position I'm in as King I can't be so hard on myself. King Light, he paved a great way for the people to finally be at peace. It was enlightening and honorable being by his side during the uprising in 2015. It was hard to see him live his final days even though he was so at peace.

I remember him always telling me that the war was the prime of his life and when I would ask why he would just smile, put his arm around my shoulder and say “because I know the world will be in good hands.” He taught me the importance of leadership and the responsibility of power. I learned how to become a warrior through his philosophy when he took me under his wing and schooled me in the ways of ancient martial arts and energy manipulation. I just never thought that all the lessons he taught me were in preparation to become King.

I’ve been having these visions of the evil that's on the horizon and it's going to take more than just me to defeat them. King Light told me to protect the one who the holds the prophecy, after I address the people for the first time as their King it will be time to bring together the next generation of leaders. We can't allow everything we worked for be taken away by GWA and the council. I won't allow it.

From what I remember it's always just been my Mom and I. My father abandoned us when I was a baby. The stories she tells about how her life was before the war are so aggravating. Usually they have something to do with my Dad and their time they spent together in Milwaukee where I was born or our brief times as a “family” in D.C.

I don't understand how she's not even slightly upset or bitter about his absence, When I ask her why he left us, she just always smiles and says he had a “responsibility to fulfill that was bigger than us and even him.” That's when I roll my eyes and continue on with my day, I love my Mom with all my heart but I'll just never understand how someone can just leave their family behind, especially in the midst of a war.

California is slightly different from D.C but I’ve adjusted the best I could these last three years. This is my senior year at the Academy and my portfolio has to be on point for my senior photography evaluation. Lately I've been catching some great shots from different rooftops and I've noticed someone with a hooded cloak who has been sneaking around G.W.A's Biotech factories. I want to know what they're up to. Something does seem off about those buildings though, they came out of nowhere. I should do some investigating of my own.

The war didn’t seem like a war for us; because of my parent’s company we didn’t lose our money, homes or resources. We donated a lot of food, water and opened a few shelters for people in the California area for people that lost everything during the war. I miss that about me and my family.

Growing up during the war was bittersweet, I was homeschooled so I didn’t have a chance to make friends but I developed a great bond with my family and teachers. We always had lots of pictures and shared tons of memorable moments together, but for some odd reason now they have only a few remaining pictures hanging up. My Dad is distant now; almost like he's hiding something. If he's not at the headquarters of the company then he's in the home office all day. With this being my freshman year at GID Academy, I just want us to be the family we used to be because I need their support.

Mom continues to do everything she can to keep me from worrying but I overheard her and Dad a couple of days ago and it didn’t sound good. They talking about three new factories that need to be up and running immediately, Dad seemed stressed and Mom was trying to keep him calm but I heard him say, “We can’t mess this up or they’re going to come after us.” I just want to know what’s going on with my family.

I've heard many stories about the 2015 uprising that led to war in 2016 that changed everything. I was still a kid when everything started to happen so I don't remember as much, but my parents were fearless. Anytime we were faced with a difficult situation they always had confidence that we would find a way.

We evacuated Milwaukee and headed to Chicago not too long after my little brother Isaiah was born. From Chicago we were briefly in Cleveland right before the war ended. After the war was over things had seemed to return to normal. After the announcement about the war being over, everyone across the states migrated to California for treatment and to hear about King Light’s next plan to redevelop everything that was lost during the war. Everything was great, until Moms started receiving treatment from GWA Biotech, it was weird. Before we got to California she was just fine, maybe some bruises or war wounds but nothing too serious. She went in for a couple of the post-war treatments but not too long after she got really ill and passed. It was so shocking and heart-wrenching for our family but I didn't have time to grieve because of my responsibility to help my father take care of home and to make matters even worse my little brother has been missing since the funeral.

Going into my senior year at GID Academy is important and I'm trying to fight off the pressure of being a leader on and off the court but it seems like every day I find myself wishing Moms was her; pops is starting to get really worried about Isaiah.

Everyone talks about the importance of the war; I'm more focused on the future. I was born close to the ending of the war but from what I know growing up is that history repeats itself and I'm not about to let another war happen again. King Light led us to these peaceful times but when he passed away everyone knew who was next in line to take his place, King Seale.

Being the world's leader is a powerful responsibility and I need Intel on him and his plan to maintain peace. I've heard stories about how he was King Light's understudy so I'm sure he has good intentions but good intentions don’t always get the job done because there’s something weird about GWA Biotech, when moms started getting treatment from them she didn't get better, she got worse. It's been weeks since her funeral and I haven't been home or school. I’m going to do some sneaking around to find what they did to my mom and why they're building all these factories around the city.
