Say what’s up to Naomi-Re'a!

Once a fresh face on the art scene of her hometown Milwaukee, WI, and now a growing leader in its development, Naomi-Re’a is the hidden voice for creative advocacy. Starting as an aspiring model in the later months of 2017, she worked in perfecting her skill set and aligning with a growing local network. She quickly became a recognizable face and caught the eye of CopyWrite Magazine early on. This led to being featured in a few magazine Issues in the years that followed. The revelation of her other talents would arise from being encouraged by her peers to take on other creative leadership positions. Through that, Naomi-Re’a has realized that her mission is to change the narrative of not only the Urban Creative but the Urban Lifestyle in general, using visuals and articulation through words as main forms of expression. This includes curating and creative directing visual concepts, coordinating event productions, coaching other aspiring models, and now as a blogger for CopyWrite Magazine. Naomi-Re’a hopes to successfully become an aid to many Creatives in the development of what it means to express and redefine.

Taiyamo Denku - Animated StoryBoard

Captivating. One word to describe Taiyamo Denku’s new single nd animations ‘Animated Storyboard’. If you actually spitting some real sh*t which believe it or not is hard to find these days. Couldn’t even tell you how many times I had to rewatch/ relisten to this because either I was hung up on one of the bars or I was too into the visuals at the time. I don’t know who produced your graphics but whoever it was is talented, man.

“The crow in Dumbo named Jim, get it? Jim Crow” is the line that stood out the most to me in this whole song because as many times as I watched Dumbo as a kid I literally never even thought of that, mind= blown. We all know those one people who might get upset about the facts being stated but it’s only because no one’s ever been real wit em, but hey that’s life, we can pencil you in but can’t guarantee that you’ll like what you see!

Treat your ears and eyes to some TLC and tune into this new hit.

If y’all came for the magic show you’re in the right place but the only illusion here is the way Rah is turning words into wonders, ain’t no fronting over here just that real sugar honey ice tea with his new single “No Facade”.

If you’re ever just for some odd reason giving away a Benz I’m totally available for that position to accept! The flow so heavy and beat so hot we need oven mitts to take them joints out the oven *insert ooo wee meme here*, lyrics not too shabby either, he’s just over here serving us the whole buffet, you go boy!

Take a step towards your metaphorical bag by listening to this new banger and giving him a follow on his socials, it’s like having a bank roll but more of an ear and heart joy instead of a pocket joy but just as fun!!!

Allllll the way from Chicago, Juggman Ice is coming at us w “anotha f****** hit bi***”!! Nothing is better than trying to better yourself and it’s hard to knock someone’s hustle when it’s working for them, you don’t gotta understand you just gotta respect it. The beat rocks and it’s apparent in the music video that they be calling him Dora the way his bag talkin.

As an unapologetic group of creatives, CopyWrite is in business to change the community. Our promise is to always remember where we started from. We do this by telling the stories that need to be told, showcasing the unrealized artistic potential throughout our community, all while doing what we love: create.

As a true reflection of our mission, our partnership with Bronzeville Week encapsulates many of the ways in which we highlight the creative community. For this year's events the /CW team has curated the August 13th music lineup, including local up-and-coming and established artists. We also are directly linking our communal pool of creative freelancers, who are well versed in creative content making who often don’t get the recognition they deserve. From photography to videography, journalism to creative directing, the essence of Bronzeville is still alive and our team will be capturing that moment. With our pilot office recently opening in the neighborhood, we carry the history of our community with us and know that we stand on the backs of giants who sparked our entrepreneurial freedom. We live here. We work here. We play here. To contribute to the narrative of Bronzeville Week is an honor and of course it will always be for the culture.
